Salary: $11.75 to $12.75 /hour


Come join the Casper’s Ice Cream team as we produce our very own Fatboy Ice Cream novelties and other frozen treats! We are currently seeking Cleaning/Sanitation team members for two shifts. These positions will have a wide range of responsibilities, from basic janitorial to cleaning industrial food processing equipment.

Schedule:

  • Swing Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., occasional Saturdays may be required
  • Grave Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., NO WEEKENDS!
  • NO SUNDAYS EVER!!!

Pay:

  • $11.75 training (plus additional $1.00 grave shift differential), with raises based on skills attained

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Basic janitorial duties in building and facilities, including offices, break rooms, restrooms, warehouse and process rooms
  • Assisting with disassembly, cleaning, and sanitation of industrial food processing equipment
  • Communicate regularly with other team members and departments

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stay on feet for entire shift
  • Deadline-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness and food safety

Physical Demands:

  • Extensive walking and prolonged standing; must be able to climb stairs and ladders
  • Major joint dexterity: Ability to bend at the waist and knees, squat, kneel, reach and work overhead for extended periods
  • Trunk Strength: extensive use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support body while working
  • Ability to carry 40-lb buckets in each hand; ability to lift up to 30 lbs. from floor to chest height
  • Manual Grip Strength: ability to grasp, squeeze, and hold objects forcibly for extended periods
  • Fine Manual dexterity: ability to use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, manipulate, assemble and disassemble equipment
